Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using Stamps (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the Assumption of Risk and Safety Waiver in Section 3. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Stamps is a location-based passport experience that lets you discover places, collect digital stamps tied to countries and challenges, and track your progress. Features, challenges, and place data may change without notice. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Stamps encourages visiting real-world locations, which involves inherent risks including personal injury, property damage, traffic accidents, and interactions with third parties or venues. You voluntarily assume these risks and agree you are solely responsible for your conduct and safety. You will comply with applicable laws, venue policies, and signage; you will not trespass or enter restricted areas to obtain a stamp; and you will not stamp while driving or when distracted from your surroundings.

The app does not provide professional, medical, legal, security, or navigation advice. Map data and place information may be inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Stamps and its affiliates from claims arising from your use of the app or visits to any location.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Stamps. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.

Some features require device location to verify that you are near a place before claiming a stamp. You control location permissions in your device settings. Stamps is not responsible for inaccurate GPS, failed verifications, or stamps claimed in error due to location drift or spoofing tools.

You agree not to cheat or manipulate stamp collection (including GPS spoofing), scrape or reverse-engineer the app, harass other users, upload unlawful content, or use the app in violation of applicable law.

Place descriptions, images, and other materials may come from third parties. Unsplash photos are used under the Unsplash License with attribution where shown.

Stamps, its branding, UI, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the App as intended.

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate place data, or that stamps or points have monetary value.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stamps and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

You may stop using the app at any time and may delete your account in Profile settings. We may suspend access if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies.
